What to See
Neora National Park: Established in 1986, Neora National Park is sprawled over 88 sq kms and is nestled by the foothills of the Himalayas. The speciality of this park are the several different species of orchids and dense bamboo forests. You will find a variety of animals there like tigers, red pandas, wild dogs, Himalayan black bears, etc.
Deolo Hill: Deolo Hill is one of the two hills between which Kalimpong is located. Two out of the three water reservoirs in the town are located atop this hill. Deolo Hill is a popular site to take in the beautiful sights of the villages sprawling below and the Teesta River.
Kalimpong Arts and Crafts Centre: Established in 1897, the Kalimpong Arts and Crafts Centre is located in the centre of the town and features a variety of handicrafts. You can buy items like masks, jewellery and scrolls, apart from other artefacts.

Pedong Monastery: Located a little way away from Kalimpong, Pedong Monastery is a Buddhist monastery built by Bhutan’s king in 1837. You can soak up some rich Buddhist culture and heritage by exploring the monastery and the old paintings that are displayed in it.
Lepcha Museum: Lepcha Museum and Monastery is the best way to learn something new about the Lepcha community.
